Plans - Related to or Impacting the Markham Ravine Corridor Enhancement Project (MRCEP):

The protection and enhancement of the Markham Ravine open space riparian habitat will require working on many different fronts and at many different levels. The Lincoln General Plan is now being updated to reflect 50 year goals and objectives. A primary component of this plan is open space preservation. The Markham Park is currently being expanded. County-wide efforts to preserve open space are being led by Placer Legacy and the Placer Land Trust. Regional planning efforts are being directed towards land use and open space protection, enhancing tree canopies and creating additional bicycle trails to supplement motor vehicle transport.

All of these activities discussed in the related links below will have an impact on the successful implementation of the Markham Ravine Corridor Enhancement Project.

The Markham Ravine Neighborhood Committee will be utilizing this website to inform community residents regarding all of these activities and other efforts as they develop. We invite your active involvement in any or all of these activities. The Markham Ravine will be the the benefactor.
