Markham Ravine Photo Gallery:

The MRNC members have photographed many scenic spots located throughout the Markham Ravine. We need additional black & white and color photos of the Markham Ravine riparian habitat, especially photos of the wildlife.

We prefer that you submit digital camera images. The photos can include the natural beauty of Markham Ravine and/or its' wildlife. You can also submit  photos of surrounding riparian habitat areas within Lincoln, including Auburn Ravine and Coon Creek. Please submit your digital images to our webmaster.  It would be very helpful if you specifically identify each image with it's precise location.

On April 6th, 2005, at the Creek Week Community Forum event, as a special 2005 Lincoln Creek Week contest, the MRNC selected the best wildlife photo submitted and awarded a special prize to Arnold Victor. 

For those photo contributors who are computer savvy,  please submit each image at exactly 720 pixels wide. For those without digital cameras or computer photo image skills please contact Bill Plumb, at 434-1772, for instructions on submitting your photos.

Please include your name and how you want to be identified. We will acknowledge all photo contributors. We will post many of your photo submissions on our website. Thank you very much.

Our Photos Galleries are currently undergoing a format change as we create and integrate a dynamic photo gallery.  We are also attempting to add background sounds of the wildlife located throughout the Markham Ravine. Please check back often to see our progress.
