Neighborhood Committee. Contributes countless hours to our committee.

Joan Adler - One of the original members of the Markham Ravine
Neighborhood Committee. Joan has been actively involved since our inception.
She has attended every one of our monthly Markham Ravine Task Force
meetings since the City Council officially recognized the Task Force
in November, 2003.
Pamela Plumb - One of the original founders of the Markham Ravine
Neighborhood Committee four years ago. Actively involved in soliciting
sponsorship donations and raffle prizes for the volunteers.
Sue Hamman - Very active in the Markham Ravine Task Force for
the past two years. A co-leader of the Brookview Neighborhood contingent
of the committee. (Southern branch of the Markham Ravine, south of Nicolaus
Rd). A team leader for the Creek Week clean-ups in 2005 and 2006.
Leah Schmuck - Very active in the Markham Ravine Task Force
for the past two years. A co-leader of the Brookview Neighborhood contingent
of the committee. A team leader for the Creek Week clean-ups in 2005
and 2006.
David McCreary - Team leader for the Creek Week clean-up in
2006. Webmaster for the Brookview Markham Ravine website, a spin off
of the official www.markhamravine.org website.
Dee Ann Buys - Team leader for 2006 Creek Week clean-up.
Todd Smith - Team leader for 2006 Creek Week clean-up.
Tony Overbay - Organizer for recruiting countless volunteers
for the 2005 and 2006 Creek Week activities.
Carl Walker - City Council appointed staff representative to
the Markhamn Ravine Task Force. Has attended every Task Force meeting.
An engineer for the City Public Works Department. Provides critical
consultation to the Task Force members.
Lincoln City Council - Tireless support of the efforts of the
Markham Ravine Neighborhood Committee for the past four years. All members
of the Council have participated in the Creek Week cleanups in 2004,
2005, 2006. Approved and funded the Markham Ravine Nature Area (MRNA)
Project development process. Comitted to the concept of preserving 40%
of any developed land within the Lincoln city limits as "open space."
Riley Swift / Restoration Resources - One of the original founders
of the Markham Ravine Neighborhood Committee. Our primary environmental
consultant for the past five years. Leader of five of our previous educational
walk-abouts through the Markham Ravine. Leader of our April 22nd 2006
Creek Week walk-about through the old wastewater treatment plant.
Ed Armstrong / Foothill Associates - Director of the Markham
Ravine Nature Area (MRNA) Project. Staff to Foothill Associates, who
has been hired by Lincoln City Council to conduct all MRNA studies and
plans, processing applications for needed environmental permits, as
well as overseeing future implementation of the trail system and enhancement
of the riparian habitats throughout the Markham Ravine.
Sandy OBleness / Foothill Associates - Webmaster for the
www.markhamravine.org website for the past four months. Designer of
all primary Lincoln Creek Week logos during the past three years.
Robert Weygandt - Elected member of the Placer County Board
of Supervisors. Founder of Placer Legacy. Key spokesperson for the preservation
of open space within all of Placer County. Educational advice to Markham
Ravine Task Force members.
David Albright / Project Director of CIMBL - Citizens Involved
Means Better Living. Organizer of creek clean-ups throughout all of
Placer County, throughout the whole year (virtually every week of the
year).
